Election for the Night Stalker Association West Chapter is open!

Running for Vice President:

MSG (RET) Sam Patrick joined the 160th SOAR after graduating from the Special Operations Combat Medic Course in 2007, serving with multiple battalions and training units. He was later assigned to 4-160 SOAR at Fort Lewis, where he helped launch the Fish on the Stick and Washington Branch initiatives. Rising from BMQ Medic to Battalion Senior Medic by 2020, Sam completed 12 combat deployments and over 100 TDY missions. After retiring on July 4, 2024, he joined The Honor Foundation to support transitioning USSOCOM members and remains active in preserving the Night Stalker legacy through the NSA-West.

1SG Greg Tracy enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2008 and has served across multiple companies within the 160th SOAR (Abn), including Delta and Charlie Company, 4th Battalion. He held key leadership roles at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and the Regimental Headquarters at Fort Campbell, where he served as the Aviation Safety NCOIC. He serves as First Sergeant for Delta Company “Hexmates,” the Battalion’s largest unit. Having grown up in the Regiment, I understand the importance of honoring our legacy while strengthening our future. I’m running for Vice President of the NSA West Chapter to help connect past and present Night Stalkers, expand involvement, and ensure we continue serving those who have built and sustained this great community.

Running for Secretary:

CW3 Stephen D. Hodges enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2008. His first assignment was as a Supply Clerk with HHC, 160th SOAR (Abn) “Renegades” at Fort Campbell, KY. In 2011, he became Supply Sergeant for C Co, 2-160th SOAR (Abn) “Warhorse.” He later served in the Property Book Office and LOGOPS before being commissioned as a Warrant Officer in 2017. From 2018 to 2020, he served with the 39th Transportation Battalion in Germany before returning to the 160th SOAR (Abn) in 2021 as a Property Book Officer for the 4-160th “Washington Branch.”

Announcement of Results: Monday, July 7, 2025

New Members Official Start Date: Friday, Aug 1, 2025
